Maravillas Bags are handcrafted and sustainable bags designed by Christina Bussmann in Spain, Mallorca.
The fashion accessories combine Palma’s charming Son Espanyolet district modern mediterranean design with traditional craftsmanship.
Maravillas Bags offers three collections of handmade bags and accessories and use the highest of quality natural materials in a local production. Ethically made under fair working conditions using sustainable materials.
Some of the materials featured are Piñatex®, a vegan alternative, with bags made from pineapple plants. Also the Wood collection, made from flexible walnut veneer. And the non-vegan leather collection made out of vegetable tannes, which uses purely natural substances for tanning such as roots, bark, and leaves from olive trees, oak and rhubarb. The brand obtain their vegetable tanned leather locally from Spanish leather factories with a long tradition of artisanal vegetable tanning methods.
