Maggie Marilyn is a New Zealand based designer who creates glamorous luxury designs using organic cottons and ethically produced silks.
All manufacturing is done in her home country of New Zealand. She is on a mission to transform the fashion industry to one that is transparent, circular, regenerative and inclusive. The designs are stylish and luxurious, truly special pieces that you’ll cheer for a lifetime.
Sustainability-wise, Maggie Marilyn aims to develop a system that takes responsibility for the end of life of every garment produced. The design and supply chain for every garment is scrutinised (otherwise check their detailed impact report!). The brand designs and encourages customers to rewear, repair and repurpose their Maggie Marilyn garments to continue the lifecycle of that resource.
Maggie Marilyn has also made a commitment to only working with suppliers who hold third party certifications around responsible water and chemical use. These organisations such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX® and Bluesign certify the use, restriction, and management of hazardous chemicals.
