FIRST BASE

Born in Bondi, FIRST BASE is a sportswear brand for the everyday cool girl.
As an independent brand they’re committed to producing in the most sustainably focused way by working with factories and mills that are committed to zero waste. Throughout the garment production process there is a level of yarn and fabric wastage that occurs, and our factories seek to reuse, recycle or repurpose this ‘wastage’ so that it doesn’t end up in landfill. These factories are based in Vietnam and China, and are WRAP (World Responsible Accredited Production) compliant.
In FIRST BASE range, they include materials such as GOTS certified organic cotton, recycled nylon for the high-performance activewear, bamboo textile and also rescues vintage treasures to create new beloved pieces.
Each season FIRST BASE releases a limited edition capsule - with just 20 pieces per style created, this collection utilises rediscovered remnants, trims and hand worked techniques to restyle each piece. The hand worked treatments applied by their designer add a richness and uniqueness to every style with no two pieces being the same. In the same line, the brand also runs a made-to-order capsule to ensure no stock is left behind.
