Welcome to ocean+main, the home of locally sourced, ethically made caftans and tunics. Inspired by the ocean, made on main street.
At ocean+main, we are obsessed with caftans. For years as fashion industry professionals, the caftan has been a perpetual source of inspiration. The timeless beauty and effortless grace of the caftan has had us scouring vintage shops, lining our walls with caftan and beach inspired mood boards, and sent us digging through boxes at far-flung foreign flea markets in search of the perfect caftan. We are also obsessed with the ocean. We love being in it, around it, living near it, but most importantly saving it.
Our collection is produced using zero or trace amounts of water and we use zero plastic in the production and shipping process from our site.
We only use up-cycled, natural fabrics like silk, cotton and modal which means our garments are limited edition, and, no additional chemicals are added to the environment in our production.
We also love main street. Our favorite factories are local and all manufacturing is done right here in Los Angeles, California. Our obsession with caftans + love of exceptional fabrics + local manufacturing = ocean-and-main: a collection of ethically sourced, locally made, limited edition, luxury caftans and tunics.
