gNappies believes that disposable should mean disposable… not forever in landfill. That’s why their cotton gPants and the waterproof, breathable pouch that holds the insert in place are reusable, and can be washed with baby’s or your clothes at 30º.
gPants are made out of stylish cotton with 100% biodegradable inserts (wet ones are compostable too!). These disposable inserts are 100% biodegradable which means that they can be composted (wet ones only) and re-absorbed back into the soil within 50-100 days (some customers say they are gone faster than veg peelings in the composter).
gNappies Disposable Inserts are the only baby product to be Cradle to Cradle Certified (cm) Silver. That means that everything that goes into their Disposable Inserts has been reviewed for 19 human and environmental health criteria and have proven to be re-absorbed back into the eco-system in a neutral or beneficial way when composted.
