We’re a family business creating organic baby clothes, kids wear and bedding that is gorgeous, practical, allergy safe and ethically made. Style and durability matter too, so we design and rigorously test each piece to last generations of play, adventures and trends.

Established in 2014, Aster & Oak was born from one mum's journey to naturally ease her children's allergies and eczema.

As a mum of two, founder Melissa struggled to find baby clothes that ticked all her boxes – allergy-friendly for her son's eczema-prone skin; non-toxic; wholly natural and ethically made. Frustrated with the lack of organic baby clothing available in Australia, Melissa decided to create them herself, sketching and designing the first few seasons at home on her lounge room floor.

Our ethics are high and our footprint is low. Our garments are all GOTS-certified, which means they do not contain toxic chemicals or ozone-depleting substances. They are made from organic fibres and processed sustainably using low-impact dyes. This allows delicate young skin to breathe naturally and guarantees our garments are amazingly soft on your baby's skin and gentle on mother earth.

We believe that together, through our daily actions, we can create a more sustainable future for our children and our planet. Each collection is designed and manufactured with love and respect for the world in which our children will grow and play.
